Ending World Hunger
Because they are proven to produce larger crop yields than an average seed, GMOs have the potential to eventually combat world hunger and provide the less fortunate with proper nutrition. However, the ultimate question is: can this actually be achieved? The root of all world hunger is poverty according to Hippocrates Health Institute, and the goal of companies who make GMOs is to make a profit by selling their products.
It isn't logical to say that GMOs can solve the world hunger problem when the biotechnology companies who create these seeds/foods aren't willing to give them away, free of charge. The fact of the matter is these impoverished areas of the world can't afford these genetically altered seeds.
